It's Mental Health Awareness Month
Did you know?
Mental illness affects 1 in 4 Americans. That's 60 million Americans per year, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Together, we can make a difference in our world. Promote acceptance. Speak up, and out, and loudly. Share your story. Take care of yourself, even though you may be caring for others. You matter, and your journey is just as important as anybody else's.
Hope and recovery are possible. Let's continue to do more for the "1 in 4" this May.
Creating Safer Schools
AERI is committed to assisting today’s schools with creating and maintaining safe environments for students and the educators who support them.
School bullying takes on different forms, including verbal threats and insults, social exclusion or isolation, physical aggression, dating/sexual violence, cyber-bullying, stealing money or objects, racial comments, and more. Bullying occurs equally between boys and girls.
